Is anyone switching to Vista for DX10 or are the majority staying with XP

i got a really nice system with 12.000 points at 3dmark and 4gb ram....
vista is still crap! and i have a copy of vista ultimate 64!

for example the mouse acceleration... you can't really disable it!

vista always gives problem with drivers, and whats the fun in getting a "are you sure?" message evry 10seconds

in some 3rd languages vista mean's 'a fokin chicken' so that is why i won't use it, besides it's crap.

I used to hate on Vista just like the rest of you, but ever since getting a decent computer and a 22" screen i must admit Vista looks smooth as hell. Took a little tweaking to get it to work to my liking but its really stable now.

vista has nothing but a nice theme, you can get that for xp as well so vista doesnt offer us anything special, just a pain in the azz

Vista is bloatware. Vista does have some cool features such as BitLocker, ReadyBoost, and SuperFetch (replaced prefetching) , and a nice interface. But, BitLocker, and the interface can both be used on XP. ReadyBoost however, cannot be.

Overall, XP is the better OS at this point.

Others: Vista

I use XP for my desktop and Vista for my laptop as I don't use my laptop for gaming anyway. But I think Vista came out quite nicely since the first Service Pack

It's a 7600GT for christ sake, that card was made with sticks and stones.

Vista runs fine here, performance is fine and it's better then XP, half of the people saying Vista sucks don't even have it.
