CEVO-Professional clears the quarter stretch with some interesting results.
The record is starting to appear broken each time a glance over to the CEVO schedule reveals two matches unplayed every three days. Pandemic and EG having their makeups pile high notwithstanding, the rest of CEVO-P have been moving along swimmingly. The two most glaring instances of rule ignoring from season one, selective enforcement of hijacks and keeping teams to a schedule, have seemingly been rectified thus far.
The second half of week two brought justice for some and a cool shot of reality for others. LFS, fresh off their blowout loss to 50cal from 2:1, unleashed a wave of destruction on Awakening, their first loss. Legacy and 50cal were victorious Monday night meaning that there are still two undefeated clubs flaunting their talent at the top of the leaderboard. Iconic continued their slide as x3o bounced back with a convincing 15-9 win. Whether they will be able to string two together, though, remains to be seen. Eximius Sports picked up a well earned win against the remarkably inconsistent MoBdeep side. It will be interesting to keep an eye on how the standings get shuffled up once Pandemic and EG return to play their missed games. That aside, we are already beginning to see a clear distribution among top, middle, and lower tier teams. Play continues Thursday night as CEVO heads to mp_backlot for week three.
