Call Of Duty: Legacy move to Dynamic, add je$t

Tied for first place in CEVO-Professional, Legacy Shallow have relocated to Team Dynamic and added je$tlolk.
When the subject of North America’s best CoD teams gets brought up around your conveniently located Ventrilo water cooler, there is a short list of usual suspects who make the grade. Perhaps what is most surprising about the latest addition to this list is the fact that, as of July 17, they were not even voted into the top ten. The team, of course, is Legacy Shallow, or rather, they were Legacy. The 5-0 CEVO-P side has switched camps and is now officially Team Dynamic.CoD4.

Dynamic have taken the CEVO-Professional division by storm and refuse to be ignored by putting up big wins against MoBdeep, x3o, and others. Unlike most other CEVO-P teams by now, though, they have not yet been to LAN and this was a key factor in the decision to switch sponsorship. Team leader Justin “illu$ioNP” Ge explains: “Legacy was a great organization that took us under their wing as we matured throughout the game. However, as our performance improved, our monetary support did not. As we hope to break onto the LAN scene in the future, we needed a sponsor that could provide the support necessary for us to compete in these events. Dynamic approached us professionally and provided the services that we needed through action as opposed to lost promises. Jonathan5 has proven himself to be a trustworthy manager and we hope to continue working with the Dynamic organization as long as we continue our endeavor in Call of Duty 4.” You may remember that Team Dynamic has had a CoD4 presence previously with a first place finish in CEVO-A and NERV 2 attendance to their credit. That team died soon thereafter and this marks the return of Team Dynamic to CoD.

Sometime last week, Chad “je$tlolk” Hansen parted ways with LFS and was looking for a new home. Around the same time, illu$ioNP was looking for a temporary replacement for Mike “bea$t” Mai as he would be on vacation missing several matches. As it happens, je$tlolk has joined the Dynamic roster but not merely as a temporary fixture. Ge comments: “After Mike's departure for vacation, we decided to look for a quick fix to fill his shoes for our jumpstarting roster. Instead, we found what we hope will be a permanent addition to our team in Chad aka je$t. Sporting a respectable team history in 50cal and l4s, Chad showed he had the skill to back up his past when we played with him. Also, his activeness and desire to win was a perfect fit for our team ambitions. We hope he can be the fuel for our fire as we move forward in CEVO-P.” Hansen’s capacity to fuel fires notwithstanding, he definitely will add to the depth of this roster although it is unclear whether the Asian Dynamic Duo will be reunited in the starting rotation in the coming weeks.
