Eximius picks up CEVO Pro CS 1.6 Team Iniquity
USA - Eximius Sports is pleased to announce the addition of our new Counter-Strike 1.6 team. The players of this team are not new to the Eximius Sports organization. Many of them have played with Eximius Sports at WSVG Summer 2006. Without further ado we are happy to announce, “Team Iniquity.” They will be representing Eximius Sports during CEVO-Professional Season 8, and any new leagues introduced in 2008.

This lineup is currently ranked fourth in CEVO-Professional with a record of 9-4. With only a few weeks left in the regular season, the playoff hopes are looking good for this team.

Eximius Sports returns to Counter-Strike 1.6 after two years. Eximius Sports General Manager Brad Dick on the return to 1.6, “I always check up on things in Counter-Strike 1.6, I just chose not to pick the game up because of the lack of support and publicity it was getting. I think that some things will change in 2008 for the game. You might see a few familiar faces return to Counter-Strike 1.6 following the Championship Gaming Series Combine in Austin, Texas. All games are like a roller-coaster ride, a giant coaster can have a huge climb and a sudden fall. I think that Counter-Strike 1.6 is again on that climb.”

Eximius starting roster:

United States Andy “icy” Keefe
United States Chad “momper” Momper
United States Jon “broodex” Gibbons
United States Kyle “kth” Holloway
United States Aaron “deacon” Armijo

Eximius Sports thanks: SteelSeries, Nationvoice, GlobalFrag Servers, NextGenServers, and Aim2Game.
