The GameGune 2008 edition is due to take place from July 24th-27th at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Bilbao, Spain.

According to the tournament's organisation, American team Evil Geniuses is the latest name to be added to its team roster, which currently has 30 teams.

GameGune has also confirmed the inclusion of Revolution Games, the Portuguese team that was the surprise package of the local ESWC qualifier, where it managed a second-place finish.

Unlike what has been confirmed by other news sources, the group draw has not taken place as the seeding distribution is currently being made by the organisation and the groups will automatically depend on it.
