The Region 3 CGS Combine takes place this weekend at the Omega Sektor in Birmingham, UK. Last years CGS teams are in attendance along with amateur hopefuls, all aiming to impress the General Managers.
The first round of the Counter-Strike: Source tournament is underway here at the Omega Sektor, after the 16-team bracket was confirmed at around midday. As this is a CGS event, the matches will obviously be in CGS format, which is MR9 with 16k start money.
The bracket is a straight knockout, and each round is best of three maps. Each team can choose any map from the dust2, inferno, nuke pot, with the remaining map acting as a decider in the event of a tie after two games.
