Changing your mind makes you retarded! I thought that Favre changing his mind about playing was a bad move for him and the Packers but I changed my mind. So I guess I am retarded too :/. Packers are a better team with him... I still don't get why Ted Thompson doesn't want him on the team.
Packers should have let Favre go where he wanted to go, even if it was in their division. Someone who helped their franchise that much should deserve that kind of respect.
this is the worst attempt in recent history of someone that retires and comes back to play again. he should have pulled a junior and retired from the game only to come back and play for a winning team.
wow dont get all butt hurt or anything, im saying he is old and should just retire, he is one of my favorite players/qb's ever but i think its a dumb decision
Once you tell your boss you're putting in your two weeks notice; they're suppose to find your replacement. By two weeks, that should be done and you're free to leave. When they hire someone else and you then decide at the last minute you don't want to quit - too bad.

yup he would of been better of with the vikings but the vikings and packers are in the same division he could won another superbowl with does wide outs and the future hall of fame rb and that insane d but the jets arent winning a super but they might make playoffs thats about it
But it's BRETT FCKN FAVRE! If Barry Sanders would have come back to the Lions like this they would have had him padded up and ready to go without another word said. Sucks for Favre, he gave so much to the team and really rekindled the program when he came in. I've always liked Brett Favre and the packers, my favorite team right behind the best team ever, the Cowboys obviously. I was hoping he would end up in Tampa Bay throwing the deep ball to Galloway and Clayton. Not sure what playmakers the Jets still have, is Santana Moss still there? He's old, but so was Elway! Good Luck Favre! That's a tough conference to play in though!
My bet is that he has a good season, nothing phenomenal though. The jets might even sneak in a wild card berth, but with all the holes in that offensive line and defense, and the injuries they always seem to get plagued by, I doubt it will be any better than that.
And it was pretty obvious he was never going to Minnesota, although that would have turned them into a superbowl contender just like that.

Where we're going, we don't need roads..... #laudable
actually the jets made some nice offseason moves and they most likely will be decent. #19 santana moss is on the redskins. the jets have laveranues coles which should come to life with an actual QB throwing to him.
#11 that analogy sucks. especially since you can change your mind and come back to do the exact same job for a different company if they don't want you back, which was this exact case.
he will embarrass himself, just like all the other guys who couldn't let go, like joe Montana, Joe Namath, blanda, johnny u, m Jordan, etc etc..... tony stealin his wrap from espn
