i really like this movie, but everyone in it has discussions and talks in a way that sounds like they just blew a line of cocaine. or at least thats what i got from it. dont ask me why edit: i dont mean the content of their dialogue i mean the actual way they talk
I think I mentioned waking life in one of my movie download threads. I think a couple of other people mentioned it as well. I developed a method to allow myself to voluntarily lucid dream after watching that movie.
i know you have several dreams a night, and sometimes remember one, but i can't remember any since 2001 or 2002. the last regular dream before the lucid dream, i fought a bear.
It was my understanding that I'd have to realize that I'm dreaming for it to become lucid.
Also, I can't find the thread, but you said the game theory for the dark knight boats was wrong because all the people on the boats would make the decisions exponential...the sum of those decisions and actions are a binary response for the entire boat, jerk.
You can't find the thread because usually when I make fun of people the thread gets deleted. I can't remember the formula specifically enough to explain what I said, but I'm 100% positive that it was way too simplistic to realistically represent the situation for a number of reasons. I'm pretty sure that the variable I was talking about was a probability, not a binary decision. The explanation was clearly misleading in indicating that not pulling the trigger was a likely possibility, which it isn't. Like I said though, I would have to see it again to argue any kind of specifics.
Yes, you do have to realize you're dreaming in order for it to be lucid, that's the point. You can train your mind to question your reality while you're awake so that it becomes habitual and starts happening automatically. Once you get
waking life
now go watch in bruges and sunshine.
side note: i had to dodge people jumping off buildings and people lighting themselves on fire on the way into work this morning, rip tom brady
the space one, or the one with ralph fiennes.
by the end I wanted to put a bullet in my head.

I would say just try to lucid dream as much as possible. It's pretty awesome.

I'm on the toilet.
