Read on as Bismal, Blackknight, and GunghoUnit predit this weeks matches.
CAL Intermediate SVIII Week 12 - Donner
Team Perception

vs

homies.

Team Perception is looking forward to another exhilarating match against another South American team. After decimating P4nz3R last week, Team Perception should find themselves having a slightly tougher time against homies. homies has not been doing so well the last 2 weeks losing both matches by 200+ points each. Watch peeK to be holdin down middle for Team Perception, while mCnee has the bunker side covered. But watch homies to counter back with CHEVCHENKO slowly pestering mCnee out of bunker while dmn puts up numbers for homies. homies needs this win to break even in record, but Team Perception will not let that happen.

GungHoUnit's Prediction: Team Perception by 175+ points

This week brings 2 teams who have earned their way into IM playoffs. Last week Tp had a huge win over P4nz3r. This is going to bring a momentum for them in this game. Homies on the other hand was dominated by Remixed but not by as much as most people would think. I believe that with the Loss to a big team and the momentum that Team Perception has that Perception will pull out on top

Bismal’s Prediction: Perception by 40 points

Carebears

vs

The Phantom Team

This may look like an easy win for carebears (also known as real-lyfe), but The Phantom Team is not to be underestimated. TPT took most people by surprise when they beat Team Perception by 500+ points. Both teams (to me) are equal in skill, and has done pretty well this season. One of them will be ending the season with a win, so who would it be? IronCross and fLaiL should take on TPT with ease, but watch Kurgan and Panda hold their own ground and gives carebears a little bit of a situation. I think carebears will come out of this struggle victoriously.

GungHoUnit's Prediction: carebears by ~45 points

Both these teams have nothing to loose for playoffs but a better ranking. Both teams have had a rollercoaster of a season but have somehow managed to hang on. Carebears had a recent loss against Icon which might bring down their spirit for this game. But watch out for Flail to dominate TpT in bunker. Allowing their team to go forth and capture flags FTW. But at the same time watch out for Kurgans amazing garand to show up most of the Carebears teams rifles. This should be a good clean game and a real close one.

Bismal’s Prediction: Carebears by 20+ points
Aimless

vs

iCON

This is to be yet another United States team against a South American team. Both teams have been really quiet this season, despite iCON's Governor was caught cheating. As of right now, both teams are elligible for playoffs so they will be working hard to keep that up. Judging by both teams' schedule/record, I would say that they will have a pretty intense match. Watch billbsod and Gooch to be the main driving force for iCON, while lucas and Thunder surprise iCON with a few tricks up their sleeves. In the end, I would have to go with iCON to come out with a win and ready themselves for playoffs.

GungHoUnit's Prediction: iCON by 50+ points

Oh man is this going to suck for icon. A south american team that lags across the map vs an american team. Both teams are going good and are in playoffs but are trying to fight for who is the better team. Aimless has the Skill over icon in most guns. But Icon does have the teamwork over Aimless due to the fact that they scrim almost every day. Look out for Billbsod and Gooch to drive the lanes in middle on Lucas and Vasilli. But watch out for beru on bunker to dominate throwdown.

Bismal’s Prediction: Aimless.DoD by 45+ points
Special Air Services

vs

ZeroEthics

zeroethics will finish the season off with an easy win against sAs. Although sAs will be trying to brush off their 3 match losing streak, they will not have the luxury to do so this match. Watch CrazyKilla and d3x to run through middle without any problems, while Maddox and Druuna stand tall and try and fight off some of the ze guys. Watch ze to win by a very large margin.

GungHoUnit's Prediction: zeroethics by 250+ points

Ze vs SaS not much to say other then that Ze finishes off the season with a win as well as many of the top ranked teams in IM do. But watchout for Maddox to step up to the plate on this map and try to over take this Top contending team in IM. While sara tries to out rifle dex. The heavies on ZE should dominate because they are being led by Tugger "theonemanreckingcrew".

Bismal’s Prediction: Zeroethics by 200+ points
Good 4 Nothing

vs

Mx3

I know that G4N has had a lot of roster problems this season so let's hope they'll finish the season off on time this time, hahah. Mx3 has lost a lot of their matches by huge amount of points and has not been doing so well either. This match will be of 2 lower tier teams just trying to finish off the season with a win. With the loss of one of their best players, Chipmunk, watch Mx3 to have a lot of problems going up against sTeW and RocKhanS. But also watch Minnie and Atticus trash whoever they will be going up against on G4N. Watch G4N to come out with a victory.

GungHoUnit's Prediction: Good 4 Nothing by 75+ points

G4N has had a tough season with roster problems and are currently in 17 place in IM. Mx3 is currently 19th place. Watch out for both these teams step it up to try to make playoffs. G4N must win this game to make playoffs! Mx3 will try to stop them by claiming a victory with having Dave and Minnie hold bunker proned style while Agape tries to stir some trouble in mid. But G4N should have no problem taking over mid and holding the flag most of the game.

Bismal’s Prediction: G4N by 60+ points
remixed

vs

P4nz3r

remixed, go easy on P4nz3r, they're nice guys at least...  10 and 0 going into playoffs.  Is that possible?  Maybe try to get it overturned, dispute...their tactics or something.

BlackKnight's Prediction: remixed by 400
Llamas on Drugs

vs

Untimely Demise

It saddens me that uD is doing so poorly this season.  A team that easily I could've predicted confidently to make it to the finals earlier on, has seemed reluctant to do what they do best, annoy the crap out of the other team.  LoD on the other hand has done the complete opposite.  For struggling to get roster consistency, they've banked 4 wins and hope to edge a 5th by season end.  As it goes both remixed and LoD with a loss or win have a good shot at getting at least a seed into the post season and pushing passed the first round, what they do from there requires more luck I think then skill.

BlackKnight's Prediction: uD by 200

Pantheon

vs

New Friends!

I will never predict a match against robby or marls.  There's no reason to.  New Friends is one of IM's top three teams officially going into this week of play and is favored to show up in the semi-finals of the playoffs.  Whether they can net a win against either remixed or osK is irrelevant until they get there, for now they have to focus on Week 12 and that's Pantheon.  If Pantheon banks a win they will have a strong shot at making playoffs, alot stronger then if they sit at the end of the regular season with only 4 wins.  With robby and marls going bunker, there is no stopping New Friends from rolling into playoffs with their 6th straight victory.

Antivirus

vs

Nexus

Nexus needs a win to make playoffs or at least have a chance.  Antivirus needs a win to move up a seed or two.  I'll give the nod to Antivirus cause they have the skill and record to show that they can pull off a win.  Good luck to you next season Nexus.

BlackKnight's Prediction: Antivirus by 100

606th FireRats

vs

OldSkool

I hate chicagolegend.  Disco Stu however I do love.  Wouldn't mind seeing 606th pull one out of the hat on these guys, but that won't happen.  Hope to see osK in the finals.  At 10 and 2, New Friends and remixed will be their only obvious hurdles in winning an IM championship going into CPL.  Good luck to both squads, but the rifling duo and ability of the british heavy will definitely notch a win for osK.

BlackKnight's Prediction: OldSkool by 400
