Hey guys... I'm droppin in to keep you updated on the WCG Halo 3 action, so here is whats been goin' on this week.
The second Halo 3 online Atlantic Qualifier for the 2008 World Cyber Game USA Championship has ended. After suffering through small lag storms Sunday the 18th, Tastykake Massacre went undefeated, leaving ImGaming in second, and Vanquish rounding out third. Tastykake Massacre will now compete against the winners from the first and third online Atlantic Qualifiers (registration closes June 6th) and Atlantic wildcard winner for a chance to advance to the US Finals.
The second Halo 3 online North Qualifier for the 2008 World Cyber Game USA Championship has ended. From the beginning of the final four bracket, team Prototype, showed their superiority absolutely demolishing teams by huge margins. Prototype went undefeated, leaving Team Oda in second, and Team Red Team rounding out third. Prototype will now compete against the winners from the first and third online Atlantic Qualifiers (registration closes June 6th) and Atlantic wildcard winner for a chance to advance to the US Finals.
The second Halo 3 online South Qualifier for the 2008 World Cyber Game USA Championship has ended. Team Oda dominated throughtout from the first round of double elimination to the finals, giving them the bragging rights for the second South qualifier. That left team Death Kount in second, and team Midnight Crisis rounding out third. Team Oda will now compete against the winners from the first and third online South Qualifiers and South wildcard winner for a chance to advance to the US Finals.
#3 i think the reason why we don't see many big names is because they are focusing on the MLG Pro Circuit. they are allowed to attend other tournaments outside of MLG so they choose where they want to play

Xiled Game came out strong from the beginning of the week from single elimination brackets all the way to the finals on Sunday. Clearly dominating most teams they have earned a spot to play in the regional qualifiers to compete against other qualified teams. That left team Death Awesome in second, and team Cerebral Mayhem rounding out third. Xiled Gaming will now compete against the winners from the first and third online Atlantic Qualifiers and Atlantic wildcard winner for a chance to advance to the US Finals.
