All Games: ESEA 5v5 Cash Event

By: Tony - Published July 16, 2008 at 5:36 PM EDT - Writer Archive
In an effort to please, ESEA brings you another one of our most popular events: a 5 vs 5 Ca$h Money Tournament, the prize pot will be dependent on the amount of registrations.
This will be our second event of the sort, and learning from our inaugural event a couple months back, we'll do being things a bit differently this time around as defined below.

Our last event didn't quite go as to plan so for this one we will be taking on a new approach. Seeing as scheduling was a huge conflict with teams last time, I will be posting the full schedule BEFORE YOU EVEN REGISTER.

Event Type: Group Play
Dates: July 28th - August 3rd
Size: Unlimited amount of teams
Fee: 5$ per player, max of 7 players team.

Prize Distribution:
1st Place: 60% of the prize pool
2nd Place: 30% of the prize pool
3rd Place: 10% of the prize pool

Register: HERE

The schedule is as follows:

There will be 4 teams in each group, with only 1 team advancing from each to a double elimination bracket which will be held and completed the following Sunday (3rd of August) beginning at 1 eastern.

Group Play Schedule
July 21st: Groups A-C
Matches will begin at 9 EST and will be continuous.
July 22nd: Groups D-F
Matches will begin at 9 EST and will be continuous.
July 23rd: Groups G-I
Matches will begin at 9 EST and will be continuous.
July 24th: Groups J-L
Matches will begin at 9 EST and will be continuous.

Double Elimination Schedule
August 3rd: Winners of each group will be thrown into a double elimination bracket and matches will be played in succession with VERY MINIMAL breaks in between.

ALL MATCHES WILL BE PLAYED IN SUCCESSION AND THERE WILL BE NO BREAKS, SO MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT LEAVE AFTER EACH MATCH

You do not have a choice of what group you will be placed into, it is completely random and the schedule will not be altered for your team. So make sure you can make all the suggested times.

There will also be no refunds.

Times are subject to minimal changes as necessary.
